Teaching/Directing/Training:

Rosie works with numerous community organisations including:

Artscare; Promote Action, Bangor; West Belfast Partnership; Helen O’ Grady Drama Academy; LORAG; Wolf Hill Community Centre; Over Fifty Club; Citizens Advice Bureau; British Urban Project; CAF; Holy Cross Primary School

The work includes directing productions and taking drama workshops with a wide range of clients including:

Children; teenagers; adults with learning disabilities; pensioners; young women; musicians

  • Rosie trains teachers in drama methods, most recently at Cedar Integrated Primary School
  • Rosie has taught Drama and Theatre Studies in two schools, Trinity Technology College, Leamington Spa, and Ernesford Grange, Coventry, covering the full range of Key Stages.
  • Teaching at Queen’s University, Belfast

  • Rosie worked as an assistant tutor to Professor David Johnston, on a third year Drama module, ‘The Negotiated Text’
  • Gave a paper with Professor David Johnston at the University of East Anglia, on the ‘performability’ of translated play-texts
  • Taught second year Drama students on their ‘practical drama’ strand, focusing on the dramatic concept of ‘Status’
  • Taught practical acting to third year Drama students on George Etherege’s ‘The Man of Mode’
  • Rosie is a tutor for the QUB Open Learning Programme, offering a course on ‘Playing Shakespeare'
  • Rosie teaches on the third year Drama degree module, ‘Shakespeare in Performance’.
